On April 16, Professor Tao Tao, Dean of International College of Xiamen University, led a team to visit two important feeder schools of International College -Quanzhou Modern School and Quanzhou Keji Middle School respectively, and had discussion and exchange with the school leaders, Wang Bingqing, Principal of Quanzhou Modern School, and Che Sichao, Principal of Quanzhou Keji Middle School.Huang Guanhua, Deputy Dean of International College, and teachers from the Admissions Office accompanied.

Che Sichao, the Principle of Quanzhou Keji Middle School, extended a warm welcome to Dean Tao and the International College delegates. He introduced the school’s educational philosophy and situation in detail, and focused on the teaching situation of the international department of the high school and the training of students in recent years. Both parties conducted in-depth discussion on how to further deepen cooperation and exchange.

Later, Dean Tao and the delegates of International College visited Quanzhou Modern School and visited the campus accompanied by the school's principal Wang Bingqing and vice principal Kang Peidong. During the visit, Dean Tao learned in detail about the development history of Quanzhou Modern School, school running characteristics and students’ situation. The two sides exchanged and communicated on how to further strengthen the construction of high-quality student bases and jointly cultivate international talents.

During the discussion, Dean Tao expressed his sincere gratitude to Quanzhou Modern School for its support to our school’s enrollment work over the years, and introduced our college’s latest development in students admission, student training, guidance for further education, and alumni work, etc., and hoped that both parties would further strengthen exchange, provide diversified channels for the growth of international talents, help more middle school students broaden the direction of their studies, and cultivate compound talents with international perspectives for the country. During the discussion, Dean Tao also listened to the opinions and suggestions of the leaders of Quanzhou Modern School on the college’s enrollment work, and answered questions about students’ major selection, further education planning and overseas study after entering International College, and Dean Tao was full of expectations for the deeper cooperation between the two schools.

This visit will help strengthen the communication between International College and the key feeder schools in Quanzhou, promote the joint construction of a high-quality student source platform, and effectively connect the talent training, greatly enhance the influence of our college's admission publicity, and lay a good foundation for the college to select quality students and cultivate international talents together.
