On the morning of 14 March, Professor Zheng Xinpeiand associate professor Takeshima Takeshi from Daito Bunka Universityof Japan visited the Overseas Education College/International College of Xiamen University for further implementing of the co-operational dual-degree postgraduate programme as well as the 2+2 undergraduate programme that were discussed in last November.

Our Dean, Prof. Zheng Tongtao, and our Deputy Dean, Ms. Huang Guanhuawarmly received the guests and the conference was held at Room B509 of Kunluan Building. The director of our Admission Office and our teaching secretary participated in the meeting. The course plans for the master’s and doctor’s programmes as well as the curriculum for the 2+2 undergraduate programme were discussed in great detail and decided. The short-term spring session that will be held in Xiamen was discussed, too.

At the end of the conference, Prof. Zheng Xipei expressed his satisfaction with this visit and invited Dean Zheng and other leaders to pay a visit to Japan to discuss the details of the cooperation with their administration.
