On Oct. 14th , dean of the Commercial College of the Brenau University, William Lightfoot, and the Chief Special Assistant of the Vice President of the Brenau University paid a visit in our college under the guidance of Mr. Zheng Tongtao, the dean of our college, and Mr. Huang Guanhua, the office director welcomed the guests. Both parties officially signed the MBA joint school running agreement. 

Dean Zheng Tongtao introduced the school operation status of the International College and Overseas Education College, and the training situation of the postgraduates in Xiamen University to the guests, while William Lightfoot introduced the teaching situation and MBA curriculum provision of the Brenau University. Both parties negotiated about the matters of joint school running and reached consensus on MBA joint training, and signed the student joint training agreement.

According to the cooperation agreement, the project will recruit senior students and junior college graduates. The students will take the first half of the IBEP (Intensive Business English Program) courses in the foundation courses of the Commercial College of the Brenau University, which are the essential basic courses of MBA curriculum and another half a year in International College; after qualified finishing basic courses, student will enter the Commercial College of the Brenau University on August in autumn or January in spring to study one year of one and a half years, then take the second half of the IBEP courses and link up its MBA master degree courses.

About the entrance requirements, the Commercial College of the Brenau University does not require the students to provide GMAT/MAT or TOEFL/IELTS grade. If the students of the Project finish all basic courses with GPA>3.0 and the grade of each major not lower than B, they can attend the MBA course of the school.

The Brenau University was established in 1878, approved by the Ministry of Education of the United States and other countries, which locates in Georgia in southern American with 4 campuses. The school is serious about education and excellent in honor, and wins various academic evaluations. It was awarded as the best university in southeast American by Princeton Review, and listed as the first class university and the most valuable institution in southern American by US News and World Report.
