Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD) is one of the longest established, largest and most significant centers for jewellery, art, design and architecture education in the world. Ranked in the UK top 10 for its research during the last Research Assessment Exercises, BIAD has a consistent focus on excellence in practice and collaboration partnerships. It is founded in 1843 with a mission to serve industry and culture in and around the city of Birmingham.
