Professor from KGU here to Give A Lecture about Japanese Ballad

At 2:30p.m.,8thMarch,International School and Tan KahKee College jointly sponsored a lecture themed “Japanese Medieval Ballads” in Room 205,Kah Kee fifth Building.The lecturer was Mr.ManabeMasahiro,the professor and supervisor of Kansai GaidaiUniversity,Japan(KGU),who was also the honorary professor of Nara University of Education and the chairman of Japanese Ballad Association.


Mr.Manabe introduced two ballads “Xian Yin Ji”(Leisure’s Song) and “Tian Zhi Cao Zhi”(Rice Transplanting Song) to us.His presentation was warmly welcomed by students from both schools.It offered a new access for students to learn about Japanese literature and they were highly motivated by the lecture to improve Japanese comprehensively according to the interviews after.
