In order to respond to the call from the Youth League Committee, the “Green long march – campus circuit run” organized by the Student Union of Youth League general branch took place at 7:30 pm on October 16, 2016. This event integrated running, online and offline public welfare. Students would record the mileages they run via the app Yodo Run and make contributions towards greening western China.

Although it started drizzling before the launch of the event, the runners were still enthusiastic. Guided by the instructors, students started running with a blue glow stick. Throughout the 3 miles run, they enjoyed the sceneries alongside the road. Some good runners finished the run within 30 minutes. The event came to a successful close.

This event provided a platform for students who love sports and shows their care for public welfare. Combing the online record and offline activity is a new way in this era of Internet. The students made a contribution to the activity of Protecting Mother River.
