The Celebration Party for 2016 freshmen, which was organized by the International College Students Association, was warmly held in Multi - functional lecture hall B102, Kunlun Building. Prof. Zheng Tongtao, Dean of the School of International Education, Dean Huang Guanhua, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee, Wu Weiping, and Jiang Yuta, Secretary of the Communist Youth League, attended to join the party. Meanwhile, teachers and students of International College as well as presidents of student association of other colleges shared the party together. The atmosphere was extremely warm, and audience could not help to wave light sticks.

The party opened in the dynamic hip-hop dance, dancers from “UE dance” created a cheerful and warm atmosphere, accompanied by cool light shock the audience. Then, Liu Wenbo played the piano and sang the popular song Fang Yuan Ji Li, striking a chord with audience. Jing Lu Xin’ B-box made us enjoy an audio feast, the audience applauded for his brilliant performance. Then, Park Ji-hsiu, Jinxiu Ji, two cute girls from South Korea's lit the audience with the songpassword 486, cheering the audience constantlyl. In the solo dance Big Fish Begonia, Yang Yi-nan dressed in a red dress skirt and danced elegantly, making the audience amazed. After that, the soul music Silent Sky, from the grassland made the audience intoxicated, as if they were situated on Mongolian plateau, lead singer Chen Lanxin used the most gentle and quiet way to move everyone.

To the midfielder game loop, the hosts interacted with the audience closely and interestingly. Participants received not only a beautiful gift, but also an embrace from a handsome foreign host. In addition, We Chat wall in the right side of the stage catched everyone’s eyes. Audience took actively part in communication by We Chat.

“Little Love Song” from Band “Compound”

In the second half, the Compound band’s Little Love Song was charming and attractive. After that, it came to the latest devine tunes “Jja ra bba bba” accompanied with cool dance. Applause accompanied by screaming expressed greatest affirmation and love of audience. Then, Nilang, from Indonesia, brought us the solo you fly to the other side of the city, followed by Lu Jiayi’s performance: horse, the Chinese classical instruments Erhu solo. It not only showed the charm of traditional Chinese culture, but embodied a new generation’s aspiration to inherit traditions. Subsequently, the Troupe sports dance team's Latin dance performance became the most beautiful scenery in the party. Near the end, a series of popular songs sung by two handsome boys Li Jiongpeng and Li Cheng pushed the atmosphere to the highest point.

The whole party was colorful, integrating traditional Chinese culture and international elements perfectly. The success in hosting of the Welcome Party has fully demonstrated the spirit of freedom and compatibility of the International College. New students felt the warmth from the International College and become much closer to Xiamen University.
